CRA Outstanding Leader of Literacy Educator Award

This award recognizes a teacher (literacy specialist, literacy coach, classroom teacher, special education teacher) in Connecticut who has made an outstanding contribution to excellence in literacy instruction. It honors individuals who demonstrate exceptional dedication to advancing literacy through the science of reading and fostering a vibrant literacy culture where students are actively engaged in purposeful and thoughtful literacy activities. Nominees should exemplify a passion for making a significant impact on their students’ literacy journeys and on the school community as a whole.
