Take Your Child To The Library Day 2021!

The Henry Carter Hull Library in Clinton CT is celebrating their 10th Annual “Take Your Child To The Library Day!” all month long – with a twist! Since they will not be able to celebrate in person, so this year they are changing the event to “Take The Library To Your Child!” Children age 0-12 can earn prizes for reading! Winter 2021 Virtual Book Buddies at the Avon Free Public Library

What is the Book Buddies program? Little Buddies (kids in Grades K-3), practice their reading skills by reading to their Big Buddies. Big Buddies will also read to their Little Buddies. Little Buddies get to grow a love of reading, practice their skills, and connect with teen big buddies. We all meet together for the first 10 minutes or so of Book Buddies and play simple group games in Zoom. Buddies will have up to 40 minutes to read together…

Structured Literacy Series: Systematic Teaching of Basic Literacy Skills – CREC
