Welcome! Here you will find all the information you should need for the upcoming CRA Conference!

 


General Information

  • The deadline to register online for a booth at the 2019 conference is October 3, 2019. After that date, you must contact Gina Kotsaftis at ginakotsaftis@gmail.com or (203) 525-4061 for availability.
  • In order to respect our members’ privacy, we do not share anyone’s contact information.
  • Lunch is not provided by the conference but is available for on-site purchase.
  • Additional outside tables are not permitted. You will be billed for any additional space used beyond your reserved area.
  • Our average conference attendance is between 500-600 attendees over both days.
  • Our attendees are teachers that range from K-12 with a concentration on K-5, as well as specialists and administrators.

Vendor Registration

In order for your company to participate in the Connecticut Reading Conference, it is necessary to register using our registration management program, CVENT, at http://www.cvent.com/d/7gq9gc/4W.

The following credit cards will be accepted through this website when you register: MasterCard, VISA, and Discover. We DO NOT accept American Express. Checks should be made out to “Connecticut Reading Association” and can be mailed to:

PLEASE NOTE: You will not be guaranteed a table at the conference until payment is received.
Payment must be received no later than Thursday, October 3, 2019.

Booth Specifications and Pricing

The exhibitor’s fee is $450.00 per table for both days, NOT including electricity. If electricity is needed, there will be an additional fee of $65 for the two days which includes taxes and service charges. Tables for exhibitors measure 6 feet by 23 inches and include a tablecloth and chair(s).

Please note that additional outside tables are not permitted. You will be billed for any additional space used beyond your reserved area.
Exhibitors are responsible for providing all materials necessary for their display.

Booth Reservations & Assignments

Reservations for table space are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. The locations of the vendor tables will be the in the hallways that lead to all of the conference sessions. Before the beginning of the conference, a Floor Plan will be made available in the Floor Plan section of this page.

Vending Schedule

Set-Up:
All Vendors will be able to set up their tables after 3pm on Tuesday, November 5th. For your convenience, the hotel will provide storage space as early as the week before if needed. Materials can be shipped to the hotel to arrive the week before the conference. The boxes must be addressed as follows with your company’s name written in large letters on the shipping boxes:

Please provide all tracking numbers and names for each person sending the packages so we may help to locate your materials. All materials will be housed in the Jackson Room. Carts will also be available for your convenience.

Vending Hours:
Your booth should be ready to exhibit by 7:00 am on each day of the event. Doors open at 7:00am for attendees on both days of the conference.

Take Down:
Since the resources that our vendors showcase at our conference are of such a value to all those that attend, it is our hope that vendors will exhibit until all sessions have concluded on Thursday, November 7th at 4:00pm.

Vendor Wine & Cheese Reception

We would also like to invite you to a wine and cheese reception on Wednesday, November 6th in order to thank you for your participation in and dedication to our annual conference. The reception will be held at the Heritage Hotel’s on-site restaurant – The Tavern – located on the main floor of the hotel. You may register for this event when booking your vendor space online at the link below.
